About the Role
Join us as the Senior Quality Assurance Officer on our dynamic Future Students Planning and Operations team! Your pivotal role involves ensuring high quality and compliance as we expand into key offshore markets, a crucial step in our strategic mission to diversify our international student community.
Reporting to the Qualifications, Credentials, and Quality Assurance Manager, you’ll collaborate across the Future Students directorate to uphold internal and external standards, including the ESOS Act and National Code of Practice for Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students. Dive into a fast-paced environment where you’ll actively contribute to enhancing business processes and practices, aligning them with both external obligations and University policy. Your impact will be felt as we strive for excellence in attracting future students.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Efficiently manage back-to-source document audits by extracting and analysing data from student systems, and compiling audit outcomes.
- Tracking application trends for compliance in key offshore markets.
- Facilitating compliance with internal and external obligations, including the ESOS Act and National Code, within Future Students.
- Assisting in creating guidelines, templates, and systems aligned with best practices to ensure efficient and effective compliance with obligations.
Who we are looking for
We’re looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Officer with strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft applications, web navigation, and databases. You will draw on your leadership experience to guide teams, conduct training, and lead process reviews. Your excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, enable effective interaction with diverse stakeholders. If you excel at negotiating positive outcomes across cultural and social groups, we want to hear from you!
You will also have:
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience and education/training.
- Proven experience in supporting compliance and quality assurance in a complex organisation.
- Outstanding organisational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Understanding of the Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000, including the National Code of Practice for Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students 2018.
