About the Role
As the Records and Information Analyst you will provide oversight of records and information standards, processes and system deployment strategies at the University, utilising your expert knowledge to provide consulting and advisory services to stakeholders. Informed by a deep understanding of University processes, you will contribute to the development of compliance frameworks, while ensuring that appropriate technology solutions are in place to support compliant and efficient management of records throughout their lifecycle. Importantly, you will have a growth mindset, driving continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring that current frameworks and supporting tools continue to meet the needs of the business.  

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Direct records management implementations including scoping, business analysis, configuration, data migration and integration with other systems, training and procedure development to support business efficiency and external compliance
  • Design and deliver consulting services for the risk assessment and compliance certification of business applications and digitisation processes
  • Develop appropriate training and/or awareness programs for staff to support adoption of good practices in records and information management

Who we are looking for
Your excellent client-facing and stakeholder engagement skills will allow you to build trust and rapport with staff across the University, promoting strong working relationships and providing an exceptional Business Partner approach to service delivery. You will possess a high level of business acumen and bring a highly strategic solutions-oriented approach to the team, demonstrating agility in a rapidly changing environment.

You will also have:

  • A relevant qualification and extensive experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education and training in a relevant area
  • Demonstrated ability to provide advice and training about records and information management standards, policies, systems and practice based on expert knowledge of the field and external regulatory frameworks
  • Business analysis and process mapping skills and a demonstrated ability to streamline and simplify complex methods or concepts
