WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Ship high quality, impactful, features for a growing and dynamic set of customers

Leverage the the data and technical resources of Canada’s biggest bank to build a first in class experience

Be a key member of an agile scrum team coordinating with product and design counterparts to create and test new features to best serve our consumers needs and wants

Continuously advocate and build robust products to capitalize on dynamic business opportunities

Be thoughtful and advocate for our customers at every opportunity

Work with counterparts to establish and uphold an engineering culture of autonomy, creativity, and open feedback to allow continuous improvement

Mentor and be mentored by everyone around you to maintain a modern software environment

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

Must have:

8+ years of strong experience with frontend technologies such as reusable components, responsive styles, single page apps, javascript, CSS, HTML

Some experience with backend technologies such as API design, relational databases, caching, messaging queues

Some experience with cloud infrastructure, continuous deployments such as containers (Docker), aws

Demonstrated ability to work closely with development and product teams to drive the brainstorming, design, and implementation new features

Demonstrated ability to mentor and direct more junior developers in complex technical areas

Nice-to-have:

Ability to facilitate between and influence key decision makers

Excellent and empathetic English written and verbal communication skills.

Experience with technologies such as Kubernetes, java, or kotlin

Experience with application security

Experience with SEO and SEM optimization
