Peraton requires an Information Assurance (IA) Manager to serve as the senior Point of Contact (POC) and lead for ensuring that Government and industry best practices for maintaining Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) of Information Technology (IT) systems and services are applied and executed for the Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) services for the Long-Range Enterprise Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Activity (LEIA) Task Order at Camp H.M Smith, Hawaii in support of Special Operations Command, Pacific (SOCPAC). SOCPAC requires contractor services to provide a broad spectrum of C5ISR capabilities to facilitate SOCPAC missions.
SOCPAC requires flexible services including, but may not be limited to, Contractor Owned, Contractor Operated (COCO) capabilities using air, surface, subsurface, space, and cyber platforms to meet mission needs in an ever-changing threat and technology landscape. SOCPAC requires that these services continuously leverage the latest C5ISR technologies and best practices to rapidly refresh capabilities and ensure that platforms and intelligence operations provide optimal capabilities. SOCPAC requires these services to be performed primarily within the USINDOPACOM AOR, but ancillary and supporting activities may be performed globally.
SOCPAC is a Theater Special Operations Command (TSOC) under the United States (U.S.) Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) and serves as the functional component for all special operations missions deployed throughout the Indo-Pacific region. SOCPAC coordinates, plans, and directs all special operations in the Pacific theater supporting U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) as a sub unified command. The USINDOPACOM Area of Responsibility (AOR) is the priority theater for the Department of Defense (DoD), covering 51 percent of the globe and 60 percent of the world’s population.
The USINDOPACOM AOR is like no other geographic region. The region is culturally, socially, economically, and geopolitically diverse, with more than 35 nations comprising the Asia-Pacific region and is home to more than 3,000 different languages, and several of the world’s largest militaries. More than one third of Asia-Pacific nations are smaller, island nations, including the smallest republic in the world and the smallest nation in Asia.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead cybersecurity and IA services to assist C5ISR activities in accordance with DoDI 8501.1
- Provide technological responses that prevent, detect, and respond to cyber threats and conduct research and analysis of actionable cyber threats requiring a rapid response
- Assist all IA officer responsibilities in accordance with the DoD Special Access Program (SAP) Handbook to the Joint SAP Implementation Guide and the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and the Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 503, IC IT Systems Security, Risk Management, Certification, and Accreditation
- Provide IA services to the Government for classified activities, establish and maintain accreditation for all information systems or equipment operating within a classified environment, and develop and maintain System Security Plans outlining security operating procedures
- Develop all required IA and cybersecurity documents and plans including Cybersecurity Plan, Security Assessment Report, Plan of Actions and Milestones, and Risk Assessment Report for the Security Authorization Package
- Work with USINDOPACOM to obtain accreditation for the solution using an Initial Authority to Test (IATT) and/or an Authorization to Operate (ATO) on relevant networks
- Provide day-to-day security management and oversight for classified activities performed by contractor personnel, including sensitive documents, data, and equipment; perform routine data updates and required security patches; and provide monthly reports on security updates and patching activities

Qualifications
Required qualifications:
- A minimum of ten years’ cybersecurity and IA experience including assessment and authorization processes to secure an Authorization to Operate (ATO)
- Proficient in DoDI 8501.1, DoD SAP Handbook to the Joint SAP Implementation Guide, RMF and ICD 503 IA and assessment and authorization processes and requirements
- Certification for DoD IA Manager (IAM) Level II minimum (CISSP, CASP+ CE, etc.)
- Current TS clearance with SCI eligibility
- Candidates must also exhibit leadership, teamwork, ingenuity, critical thinking, and initiative
Desired qualifications:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. A minimum of 5 years military IA experience may be substituted in lieu of the degree.
- Experience managing Communications Security (COMSEC) activities including requirements for fielding and supporting encryption and cryptologic equipment and keys for classified networks
- Experience conducting manual and automated software code reviews to identify cybersecurity vulnerabilities and mitigation methods
- Experience with regulations and processes required when working with countries within the USINDOPACOM AOR
- A minimum of five years’ experience working in roles within or with countries within the USINDOPACOM AOR
- Willingness to travel to other CONUS and OCONUS locations

Target Salary Range
$176,000 – $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
