The University is seeking an experienced leisure professional to join us a Swimming Pool Supervisor to take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the University of Bristol’s Swimming Pool. As part of the role the Swimming Pool Supervisor will lead a shift team of Lifeguards to ensure the efficient, effective and safe utilisation of the Swimming Pool and deliver an excellent customer experience for students, staff and external customers.
Working a fixed shift pattern you will be responsible for lifeguard, and customer supervision, and ensuring the facility is operating in a safe, and efficient way, delivering a brilliant service.
Applicants will have exceptional customer care and communication skills and be able to demonstrate an enthusiasm and passion in helping members achieve their goals. Experience in working in a leisure environment, preferably with wet side experience. Swim teaching and Trainer Assessor experience will also be an advantage.
Applicants will need to demonstrate develop both teamwork and hard work in order to deliver a fantastic experience for all our students, staff and community users whilst adhering to our Health & Safety policies.
Shift pattern:
Sunday 7:30 – 15:30 (7.5)
Monday 5:30 – 14:30 (8.5)
Tuesday 5:30 – 12:30 (6.5)
Wednesday 5:30 – 12:00 (6)
Thursday 6:00 – 13:00 (6.5)
