Contract: Fixed Term Contract until April 2025 – Maternity Cover, working 35 hours per week (Arts Council also recognises the benefit of flexible working as a valued part of the way we work, and welcome applications from individuals who require flexibility)
Salary: £30,631 per annum plus benefits including a final salary pension scheme, generous annual leave, and flexible and hybrid working.
Location: Manchester (The role will be based at the office base listed; however, we are operating a hybrid way of working and support our staff to make use of remote working options when combined with regular on-site contact days with other members of the team, normally 1-2 days a week)

We are looking for a positive team player to join our friendly Information Management Team.
You will support the Senior Information Risk Owner and the Data Protection Officer to deliver and improve records management across the organisation. Ensuring our processes are compliant with current Data Protection legislation including the General Data Protection Regulations and the Data Protection Act 2018.
You will also manage requests received under Freedom of Information (FOI) and Data Protection legislation, along with Parliamentary Questions from the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS), establishing effective working relationships throughout the organisation and with external stakeholders.
Experience of working in Records Management coupled with an up-to-date knowledge of Data Protection legislation and the FOI Act is essential to succeed in this role.
You will be responsible for managing your own workload and providing advice and support to colleagues as required. You should have a positive and proactive “can do” attitude.
