Distinguishing Characteristics:
- Knowledge, skills, and ability to monitor multiple intelligence platforms and other data sources to identify risk intelligence and threat intelligence events and/or information that have a potential negative impact to the client and its workforce.
- Rapidly identify, analyze, assess, and escalate risk/threat information in real time to appropriate stakeholders, and respond to risk/threat events based upon established procedures.

Completes tasks associated with these areas of responsibility:
- Reviews and verifies information and reports, Alert Notices, and other relevant data sources; disseminates data via reports or other analytical products, to appropriate client personnel.
- Provides appropriate response(s) to risk and/or threats to the client and its workforce based upon a thorough and accurate analysis of alerts and information and escalate cases to the appropriate client personnel.
- Assesses and maintains a variety of situational awareness tools, to advise decision-makers quickly and accurately of potential risk or threats.
- Researches, evaluates, integrates, and analyzes all-source data inthe preparation and presentation of clear, concise, and accurate documentation of risk and threat events in various databases, logs, and other reporting formats prepared in response to collection tasking and other recording requirements.
- Performs research,analysis, and reporting on threat environments as directed.
- Directly supports travel protection initiatives through monitoring of employee travel tracking platforms, notifications to employees regarding travel impact events, and requests for employee travel assistance as appropriate.
- Utilizes interpersonal and communication skillsas a professional representative of the company to protect the interests of our client.
- Monitor the quality, timeliness and relevance of reports produced by the GSOC Analyst team.
- Acts as a key stakeholder in the GSOC’s Analyst Program development and day-to-day engagement with the business.
- Supervise Analyst Team’s performance and provide required training, coaching, and counseling.
- Completes recurring gap analysis of the Analyst Program to ensure the best practices are in play and provides recommendations on program development.
- Acts as a superuser to the operational tools (ISOS, Travel Tracker, Onsolve, Dataminr, Factal, and Open-Source Outlets) to ensure configurations satisfy the business needs.
- Carries out all duties in an honest and ethical manner, while maintaining client confidentiality
MINIMUM HIRING STANDARDS:
- Must have a valid license
- At least 3 years of management experience
- 4 years of experience in the security industry
- Able to manage contractors and third parties
- Have a five-year checkable employment history or be able to produce documentary evidence of any period of unemployment, self-employment, or full and part-time education during that period
- No current criminal convictions
- The ability to embody and uphold the Securitas core values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness

- Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus
- Be punctual and reliable
- Be willing and able to work shifts/hours covering days, nights and weekends
- Competent in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and E-Mail (Outlook), Smartsheets and Lenel
- Well-developed interpersonal and influencing skills. Able to negotiate and deal with sensitive and confidential matters with tact and discretion
- Adaptable and responsive in the face of changes in priorities, plans and schedules
REQUIREMENTS:
The following are the minimum qualifications that an individual needs in order to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position.
- Bachelor’s Degree or 2+ years equivalent professional intelligence training
- 5 years in the Protective Intelligence or related field requiring review, analysis, and reporting from multiple data sources.
- Demonstrates strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent time-management, project management, oral communication, technical writing, presentation development, facilitation, and organizational skills required.
- Must possess intermediate skills and experience in collecting and analyzing data to produce assessments, publications, and reports.
- Strong familiarity with all major social media platforms.
- Must be knowledgeable on world news and current events.
- Can effectively communicate and interact with internal and external stakeholders and across diverse cultures
- Must be flexible and possess the ability to function independently in stressful situations.
- Knowledge of security procedures, life-safety, and business continuity.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Track and analyze major threat trends for the client and provide limited risk reports (E.G. Viral Outbreaks/Terrorism/Weather Patterns/ and Geo-Political Issues).
- Must have an excellent attendance record and an overall good record with no evidence of disciplinary actions.
- Ability to act in decisive manner in emergency situations.
- Ability to assist in facilitating progressive change.
