Job Description

Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is one of four Lockheed Martin business areas. MFC is a recognized designer, developer and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries.

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to develop embedded software in Dallas/Grand Prairie, Texas.

In this role, you will:

– Support real-time software applications and testing for missile programs

– Integrate algorithms into C++ applications

– Work in a team with both technical and career leaders

It is possible that travel will be required to both customer and supplier sites. It is also possible that travel will be both within and outside the Continental United States (CONUS).

Basic Qualifications

-Experience in software engineering and software development
-Ability to interpret customer needs, work with the team to develop software solutions, product backlogs, and provide technical feedback to the team
-Linux/Windows
-Experience working with an RTOS
-C++
-Experience integrating embedded devices
-Experience integrating software with FPGAs
-Experience Integrating hardware and software
-Experience integrating closed loop systems
-Experience working with multidiscipline teams
– Bachelors degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience.
– Active Secret Clearance with most recent investigation in the last 5 years.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
