Position Summary The College of Arts and Sciences is seeking a chair for the Department of Anthropology at the University of Memphis.

  • a letter of interest that includes a vision for the department,
  • a leadership philosophy statement,
  • current UofM curriculum vitae, and
  • contact information for at least three references.

    Minimum Position Qualifications Applicants must have a PhD in an appropriate discipline, a distinguished record of teaching, scholarship, and service that merits appointment as a tenured associate or full professor in the department, demonstrate a commitment to academic and teaching excellence, and evidence of administrative skills. This position is open to current full-time University of Memphis faculty only.
