What is the opportunity?
As a Senior Product Manager on the Retail Automotive Products team, you will have responsibility for the retail automotive indirect lending portfolio, including the development and execution of product strategies designed to drive incremental market share and improve portfolio profitability, while balancing business risks.
What will you do?
Shared P&L responsibility with the Director of Product & Pricing for the Retail Auto portfolio
Responsible for the development of product strategies and roadmaps for the retail New Auto and Used Auto portfolios
Grow indirect lending portfolio by developing segment-specific programs
Improve portfolio profitability by identifying opportunities to increase revenue and reduce costs through automation and other efficiency pursuits
Lead and execute policy changes, process enhancements and other product initiatives designed to drive improved market share and portfolio profitability
Proactively assess value of various opportunities or requests and prioritize deliverables to focus on what matters most
Support of first-line-of defense risk mitigation activities including dealership management strategies and fraud prevention/detection
Develop and execute pricing strategies and changes in collaboration with the Director of Retail Product
Effectively manage all day to day product and pricing escalations from Sales and Operations partners
What do you need to succeed?
Must have:
Product management experience
Thorough understanding of product profitability and strong knowledge of financials
Understanding of business risks, sound judgment and decision-making capabilities
Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills with a focus on prioritizing high impact deliverables
Ability to think strategically and leverage large amounts of data from multiple sources
Self-starter with the ability to understand the assigned task and work independently to execute and complete the task with minimal supervision
Nice to have:
Previous experience in the automotive finance industry
Previous pricing experience
Experience working with large and complex datasets utilizing SAS, Python, SQL, etc.
