What is the opportunity?
As the Learning & Performance Consultant you will be part of the global Learning & Performance Centre of Excellence team and be accountable for the end-to-end management of learning strategy and execution for learning solutions for T&O and Functions. You are a strategic partner and trusted advisor to your business and HR partners, collaborating to identify performance gaps. You add value by enabling employee development through learning solutions that impact and enhance performance and business outcomes with data-driven advice and measurable solutions.
What will you do?
- Build relationships and create trust by having a deep understanding of the platform strategic vision and talent strategy.
- Highly skilled at impact and influence in order to stakeholder ideas and concepts to executive-level leaders for decisions and buy-in
- Lead discovery through a needs assessment; develop insights to create a learning plan for the business/HR strategy requirements to strengthen employee performance.
- Collaborate with HR & business partners to identify the performance gaps. Compare actual performance with ideal performance to inform the problem statement.
- Analyze complex situations, identify performance gaps and determine the root cause, to identify opportunities that can be solved with a learning solution and provide a results-driven recommendation, supported by data, to close those gaps.
- Establish goals and outcomes of learning solutions to create metrics of success used to monitor the program and communicate back to the business stakeholders.
- Create a learning and performance plan from the insights gathered during assessment to communicate and recommend a learning strategy.
- Evaluate the implemented recommendations/solutions to understand the impact it had on the business objectives outlined in the problem statement. Use data to have productive and proactive conversations with stakeholders to aid in decision-making on learning strategy now and in the future.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Excellent performance consulting skills with demonstrated capability managing stakeholder expectations.
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal and demonstrated facilitation and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high stakes projects and deliverables and prioritize projects that are running concurrently.
- Excellent relationship management skills, demonstrated through effective collaboration with project teams.
Nice to have
- 7+ years of professional experience in adult education and/or learning and development, talent development and/or talent management.
- Excellent vendor management skills, providing support and guidance to external vendors
