As a Senior Social Strategist, you will play a key role in developing and executing social media strategies to enhance brand presence, engage audiences, and drive business objectives – in other words, social media is your bread and butter. You will be responsible for overseeing social media content calendars, campaigns, analyzing performance metrics, and staying abreast of industry trends to ensure our social media efforts are innovative and effective. Most importantly, you are driven by a passion for evolving trends and technologies.

Please note that remote work is not an option for this role, and the requirement is to be onsite in our Toronto office.

You will:

  • Provide community management for clients
  • Serve as the day-to-day social lead for client/internal teams
  • Social Listening on active clients and prospective accounts
  • Develop POV’s on a range of social topics as needed
  • Social thought leadership
  • Strategy Development:
  • Develop comprehensive social media strategies aligned with overall marketing and business goals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate social media into broader marketing initiatives
  • Identify target audiences and tailor strategies to effectively reach and engage them
  • Analytics and Reporting:
  • Monitor and analyze social media performance using analytics tools
  • Provide regular reports on key metrics, insights, and recommendations for improvement
  • Adjust strategies based on data-driven insights to optimize performance
  • Trend Monitoring:
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, social media best practices, and emerging platforms
  • Recommend and implement innovative strategies to maintain a competitive edge
  • Content Planning and Creation:
  • Lead development and implementation of social content/editorial calendars
  • collaborate with the social creative team to develop compelling social media content

You have:

  • 4-7 years experience in marketing, public relations, and /or communications
  • Proven experience in social media management, with a focus on strategy development
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and trends
  • The ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate engaging content ideas
  • Experience with Content Creators/Influencers is a plus
  • Agency experience is a plus
