This position requires a creative self-starter with:

Strong computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, desktop publishing, list-serves, emails and online calendars, grammar/proofreading/editing, and filing.
Knowledge of database entry and maintenance.
Familiarity with online meeting software such as Zoom and Google Suite products.
Ability to file and organize large amounts of information. In depth budget and fiscal skills. -Strong internet research skills.
Ability to work independently
Ability to follow written and oral instructions
Ability to supervise
Ability to coordinate events
Ability to perform well under pressure
Ability to create reports for management using data gathered from various sources.
Facilitate communication between staff and senior staff
Experience working with culturally diverse, low-income persons and/or assistance agencies.
Basic understanding of nutrition and physical activity
Familiarity with public assistance programs such as SNAP and WIC
Familiarly with program evaluation

High School graduation or higher with education or training in basic office management introduction to computers, word processing, spreadsheets, desktop publishing. Experience in data analysis and program evaluation. Experience working with culturally diverse, low-income persons and/or assistance agencies. Experience with health and wellness programs. A passion to learn.

Minimum Qualifications:

Some college coursework and one year experience related to program specialty, or an equivalent combination of training and experience; OR three years of progressively responsible office/administrative experience. Valid Driver’s license or the ability to obtain one and reliable transportation to office and client locations

Position Details:

This position is located on the Troth Yeddha’ campus in Fairbanks, Alaska. This is a part-time, term-funded, non-exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package . UA provides a generous compensation package that includes retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays per year, tuition waivers for employees and family members, and affordable medical, dental and vision care coverage. New hires will be placed on the UA staff salary schedule , Grade 77, based on education and experience.
