Scope of Job | To coordinate all aspects of equipment for the assigned athletic program, including, but not limited to, planning, ordering, receiving, and ensuring proper use of athletics equipment within the parameters of the department and university procurement and inventory control guidelines. |

Required Education | Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in sports administration, sports management, or other related field. |

Required Experience | One (1) year of experience working in an athletic department or working with equipment management. |

Equipment | Use of standard office equipment. |
Working Conditions | Needs to be able to successfully perform all required duties. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Exposure to outside environments, hot, dry, wet, and cold. UTRGV is a distributed institution, which requires presence at multiple locations throughout the Rio Grande Valley. Some travel and weekend work may be required. Ability to read and understand label instructions on chemicals. Duties may involve the lifting and moving of heavy objects, stooping, crawling, climbing, reaching, and other activities requiring physical excretion. |
