JOB SUMMARY:

The Documentation Team is set within the Business Process Management Teams. The team oversees documentation creation, maintenance, and governance. This position will support Documentation Specialists as they create documentation that is engaging and usable for processing and training. This position is important to the organization as it will oversee the team and documentation projects supporting our Global Supply Chain teams. This position will report to the Documentation Manager and will work closely with business teams in delivering effective documentation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Removes team barriers to implementing new ideas or approaches by securing the necessary resources or support from senior management.
  • Provides expertise and guidance to ensure an up-to-date knowledge of records management procedures and policies across the organization.
  • Determines actual or potential gaps in resourcing for projects and recommends strategies to mitigate.
  • Evaluates the progress of projects and adjusts (e.g., to task order or timeline) to keep the project on track.
  • Guides others to collect information and analyze complex data and business problems; identifies trends and uses data-driven insights to make recommendations.
  • Support team in development, documentation, and improvement of processes to ensure consistent, efficient, and effective workflow.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, or High School Diploma plus 4 years of related work experience.
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and working knowledge of various other editing tools.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience writing technical documentation and work process flowcharts.
  • Experience working both independently, and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment with the ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources.
  • Ability to take initiative in project-based setting.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize according to business need.
