Required License/Registration/Certification American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) and High Risk Certification
Physical Requirements Standing, sitting for long periods of time.
Shift 40 hrs/week
Job Summary Perform diagnostic procedures daily per Division protocols in either UK or Outreach Clinics in regional Health Departments. Maintain and respect patient privacy and confidentiality.
Describe and obtain IRB consents for TVS patients; utilize proper procedures for identifying films/images, identifying patients, and marking film/images correctly for interpretation, input patient information and measurements into our database, and instruct patients that a physician will contact them if results are abnormal.
Work with Administrative Director to identify problems and opportunities for improvement in the Division and regional Health Departments; maintain CE credits for licensure and maintenance of knowledge base in the industry; develop and monitor processes to address and improve patient satisfaction.
