The incumbent will work under the supervision of Strategy and Planning Officers, OSP, under the overall guidance of the Deputy Director, OSP
Technical Focus
The incumbent provides comprehensive technical and policy expertise to support corporate position and budget planning, monitoring and reporting.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Provides support on position and budget planning as required,
- records and processes changes to posts in corporate systems, ensuring consistency between PIRES and GRMS, and Adjusting resources as required;
- Assists in the preparation of a graphical user interface for the posts/incumbency lookup facility in PIRES
- Assists in budget monitoring and reporting, including the preparation of allotments as required.
Candidates Will Be Assessed Against The Following:
Minimum Requirements:
- University degree in business or public administration, finance, economics, agriculture, development economics, international development, or related fields
- At least 1 year experience in results-based planning, monitoring and reporting
- Working knowledge (level C) of English and limited knowledge (level B) of one of the other FAO languages (French, Spanish, Arabic, Russian, Chinese). For PSA, working knowledge of English (level C).
