Job description

Tameside College are looking to recruit to the role of Teacher in Painting and Decorating.

Standard Requirements for the role: You’ll be responsible for planning, delivering and developing teaching/learning programmes using a flexible range of strategies and learning styles; taking responsibility for your quality of teaching and related curriculum development that meet learner needs, whilst assessing learners progress in College or on work experience and devise assessment processes against highly personalised progress targets.

What you’ll need: – We are looking for an enthusiastic, resilient and highly motivated individual with Literacy and Numeracy to at least Level 2, Level 3 qualification or relevant NVQ (or equivalent) in Painting and Decorating or General Construction, you will have a Level 4 Teaching Qualification: Certificate in Education/ PGCE/Bachelor of Education or will be required to achieve Level 5 Diploma (DTLLS) or equivalent within 3 years of appointment, relevant assessment qualifications – IQA/A1/V1 and evidence of current Continuous Professional Development.
