A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Night shift Support Worker to join a Residential Learning Disabilities Living service in Ripon where the staff team play a key role to positively encourage development of adults who have a range of complex and diverse needs.
Details of the role:
- Full Time Position (Temp2Perm)
- Shifts will be night shifts
- Location: York
- Pay rate £10.50+
- Night shifts

This is an exciting and rewarding position, where you could be spending your day in a supported living setting working as part of a team alongside other care professionals to supporting older adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and physical disabilities. You will have the opportunity to support individuals to live as independently as possible through the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care.
We are looking for someone who is friendly, compassionate and has great resilience and a flexible approach when supporting individuals.

What are the requirements for this role?
- Experience working in a similar role supporting a similar group of clients is desirable.
- You will need to show you have the ability to work cooperatively as part of a team whilst demonstrating excellent communication skills.
- Have the willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends.
This position is advertised on a temporary to permanent basis whereby you will complete a 12-week period with the support of AJ Recruitment, resulting in a permanent position and transferring to our client at the end of the 12 weeks whereby you will be working to a set roster, however there is often the opportunity to work overtime.
