***$5,000 Sign-On Bonus Available***

Eligibility in 2 installments: $2,500 at 90 days of employment / $2,500 at 180 days of employment

Starting Pay Rate: $40 – $45 / hour

Primary Responsibilities:

The Floor Nurse will contribute to the assessment of residents, implement health care services and collaborate with the Terrace Manager and Community Health Director to provide health promotion and monitoring of residents.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to productively communicate with residents living with dementia and their families
• Ability to provide resident and family education
• Ability to use a computer, with Word, spreadsheet, email and internet
• Ability to foster a positive environment and represent Era Living in a competent, professional manner
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English

Requirements:

• Proof of valid LPN license in good standing from the State Of Washington
• Must be authorized to work in the US
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working with older adults; experience with dementia preferred
• Must be able to complete Modified Fundamentals of Caregiving
• Must complete Caregiver Mental Health and Dementia specialty training
• Must have current CPR certificate

Additional Considerations:

• A DSHS background check may be conducted after a conditional offer of employment
