We are looking for a travelling Field Service Specialist who will provide overall technical support/repair for equipment, OEMs, installers, and dealers.

The Field Service Specialist will travel 4 days per week (on average), with one day remote from home.

We are looking for someone with technical experience in automotive components (particularly heating and cooling systems aka vehicle HVAC) to understand a problem and help a customer troubleshoot through it both via phone and in person. This person will need to understand what components are broken and be technical enough to communicate these problems to Engineering.

Location: Remote – Washington, Oregon, Montana, Colorado, Idaho, Wyoming, and Los Angeles.
Salary Range: $100,000 – 110,000/yr + benefits
Travel: 4 days per week (on average), with one day remote from home

What’s the Job?

• Provide customer assistance and advice on complex service issues.
• Investigate and resolve technical field problems and recommend and /or initiate corrective action.
• Perform repairs, field testing and analysis of failed components to assist engineering and provide direct support to FSR and engineering in design parameters with regards to servicing and maintenance of MCC products.
• Service Manager in determining modes of failure and root cause.
• Determine and /or assist in demining liability in warranty equipment failures

What’s Needed?

• College degree in HVAC or refrigeration or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Refrigeration certifications.
• 5 years of experience in repairs on HVAC systems.
• Proficient on electrical systems, reading technical drawings and MS Office.
