A Research Fellow position is currently available in the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS).

Key Responsibilities:

Theoretical development of the pseudopotential formalism and composite fermion theory, as well as both analytic and numerical tools for studying the fractional quantum Hall effect
Job Requirements:
-
PhD in theoretical condensed matter physics or closely related fields

Highly motivated
-
Expertise in topological phases of matter, strongly correlated systems and quantum numerical simulations

Knowledge in strongly correlated topological systems
-
Capability in large scale numerical simulation
-
Good technical background in analytical and numercal skills in tackling many-body quantum systems

Past publications show competent experience in research and crtical thinking
