Job description
We are currently working with a fast growth top 10 firm in Manchester who are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Private Client Tax Assistant Manager.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the tax department, managing private client portfolios and providing expert advice on various taxation matters.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of private clients, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and identifying opportunities for tax planning.
- Provide expert advice on personal tax matters, including income tax, capital gains tax, and inheritance tax.
- Conduct in-depth reviews of client financial information to identify tax-efficient solutions and opportunities for tax savings.
- Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and communicate potential impacts to clients.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a holistic approach to client service and identify cross-selling opportunities.
- Assist in the development and training of junior team members.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, fostering trust and confidence in our services.
Qualifications:
- ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified.
- Proven experience in private client tax within an accountancy firm.
- Strong knowledge of UK tax legislation and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
