Robert Half Management Resources is the worldwide leader in specialized consulting and staffing services for senior-level accounting, finance and business systems professionals.

Our Crown Corporation client is seeking a Buyer for a contract-to-hire opportunity. The selected candidate will report to the Senior Manager and will oversee Procurement, Contract Management and Risk programs.

The Buyer’s duties will include:

· Providing technical expertise regarding processes, policies, and procurement activities

· Supporting all aspects of the procure-to-pay process

· Purchasing goods and services on behalf of the organization

· Ensuring compliance with public sector and organizational standards

· Maintaining relevant records

· Performing various administrative duties in support of the organization’s procurement activities

· Generating performance and compliance reports

· Other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

· Post-secondary education in a relevant field

· A minimum of five years in a similar role

· French/English bilingualism

· Experience with Bonfire and buyandsell are strong assets

· Excellent Excel skills
