Job description
The Faculty of Science and Engineering’s Planning, Compliance and Special Projects (PCSP) team is a diverse team of Professional Services staff that supports the Faculty’s Leadership Team in the implementation and ongoing management of its strategic and operational priorities at Faculty, School and Department level. The PCSP team lead on planning related activities for the Faculty such as the creation and monitoring of annual strategic plans and operational priorities, timetabling and student number planning; as well as a wide range of projects to support the leadership team in its management of continuous change and to manage safety, compliance and risk related activities.
We are currently seeking a Management Information Analyst to work across the Faculty and its two School’s to provide high-level analysis on a variety of datasets, preparing new reports and dash-boards using the self-serve Power BI platform. This role presents an exciting opportunity for the post holder to inform strategic and operational planning in research, teaching and learning and social responsibility.
The post holder will have experience of analysing and presenting large and complex datasets in an accessible manner, a high level of IT literacy and demonstrable experience of supporting senior col-leagues to meet operational and strategic objectives.
The post-holder will support leadership teams in both the Faculty and its two Schools by undertaking high-level analysis on a variety of datasets, presenting findings clearly and concisely in order to inform strategic and operational planning.
