Both our Disability Scholarship and Ethnicity Scholarship programmes are a superb, supportive scheme where we provide valuable paid work experience and financial support to undergraduate students who join us.
For a maximum of 4 years, we will provide mentorship, guidance, and financial support to assist you through your academic years; allowing you to focus on the things that matter to ensure your future is as bright as it should be. When you’re not studying, we will provide you with paid work experience throughout the Summer in a variety of departments across our diverse business; whether it’s Finance, Customer Operations, Marketing, Human Resources or Technology – you’ll have the opportunity to gain some valuable professional experience which you can then use to shape your future.
Our high level of customer service and commercial success is shaped and driven by exceptional people, so we’re looking for students who have a unique balance of qualities, such as:

As a Motability Operations Scholarship Student, you can expect to receive:
- A bursary payment of up to £9,250 per academic year for a maximum of 4 years
- Paid summer placements each year of your studies at our London, Bristol or Edinburgh office
- Mentoring and advice from one of our team during your placement and academic year
- Access to a range of work opportunities in various departments including Technology, Finance, Customer Services and Customer Operations, Marketing and Human Resources

About You
Our programme runs for a maximum of 4-years, so whether you are joining University in October 2024 or already studying, we will be able to support you during this time for up to 4 academic years. You can be studying any subject, we’re not particular about that, what we are looking for are talented individuals; people who have the desire to be great and those who want to perform well in both their personal and professional lives.
For our Disability Scholarship, we are specifically looking for applications from individuals who consider themselves to have a disability (i.e. physical, mental), a long-term health condition or to be neurodiverse.
For our Ethnicity Scholarship, we are specifically looking for applications from individuals who consider themselves to be from an Asian, Black, Mixed or Ethnic Background.

Customers exchange their higher rate mobility allowance to lease a range of affordable vehicles (cars, wheelchair accessible vehicles, scooters, and powered wheelchairs) with insurance, maintenance and breakdown assistance included. We operate hybrid working across the organisation where we split our time between working on-site at our offices, and at home, remotely within the UK.
