Salary: £26,444 – £28,759 per annum – SS4

The Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Student Engagement team who are at the forefront of student support, providing a service that actively works towards ensuring students have advice and guidance when managing difficulty, and awareness of opportunities that can have a positive impact on student performance and experience.

The role will involve engaging with students and staff to help create an inclusive environment within the university, working on specific initiatives aligned with the university Access and Participation Plan and Inclusion and Diversity strategy. This will include providing advice, guidance and interventions to support specific student cases, recording, managing and organising data to allow a focused approach to student support, and supporting with the development of workshops, events, and materials, aimed at building community and improving outcomes for our students.

The post holder will have the opportunity to contribute towards projects aimed at improving student experience within a range of areas, such as academic performance, wellbeing, belonging, inclusion, and diversity. This work will involve working across teams within the institution, to organise and deliver events and workshops, engaging with students and staff, on campus and virtually.
