Are you an experienced or newly qualified teacher looking for a permanent role from September in a lovely Hertfordshire Primary School? Would you be keen to take over a Year 3 class who are doing well in KS1 and love learning?

About the School – Primary Teacher (Year 3) – St Albans, Hertfordshire
This is a lovely, traditional 2 form entry Primary School located in beautiful St Albans. Opened in 1959 the school has developed into a ‘Good’ Ofsted School that provides a high quality educational experience for its students and a great place to teach for its teachers. The school has a strong leadership team who are committed to developing the school further over the coming years and have put in place some excellent polices around behaviour, teaching and learning and curriculum that have started to have a large impact on attainment at the school. Due to a teacher leaving for promotion after 5 years at the school a vacancy has become available to take over a high performing, hard working class of 30 Year 3 students. Students at this school are respectful towards their teachers and poor behaviour is rarely an issue.

The school is looking for a hard-working teacher who cares about the outcomes of all their pupils. The ability to engage and inspire those from a variety of backgrounds is key to being successful in this role. Although this is a large school all staff work well together as a team and so someone who will come in and add to the environment is essential. This school is well known for its staff development and professional development opportunities. They have the capacity to support and develop a pro-active ECT or could offer a TLR, plus career progression to an experienced teacher.
