Please note that we need LSA support across our teams and campuses, however the nature of many of these posts means that candidates will be supporting students with varying additional needs in settings both inside and outside of the classroom. This may include supporting students in practical, outdoor learning settings during all seasons at our rural campus. In addition, we may discuss with you the possibility of supporting evening classes. Successful LSA recruits may be required to help some learners with personal care, and we ask all those invited to interview to consider this information during the process.
Whilst we do have a range of vacancies across our sites, the majority of our roles require successful candidates to work full-time to provide consistency for our student cohorts.
DCG is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974 and all successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Please be advised that it is an offence to apply for this position if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.
