CNC Miller: Setter & Operator
The successful applicant will join the team as a full time CNC Miller to produce precision engineered components from detailed specifications and will preferably be a time-served or apprentice-trained machinist who is able to demonstrate evidence of the following,

Ideally CNC machining experience of using HAAS/ProtoTRAK controls – training given to the right candidate
Setting and operating a variety of CNC mills, producing components to tight tolerances, whilst maintaining high-quality at all times
Interpretation and working from detailed technical drawings/specifications and customer samples
Competency of using all forms or measuring equipment and gauging techniques
Experience working with engineering plastics would be beneficial
Should you be successful in your application, you must be able to demonstrate real initiative, particularly with regards to problem solving and fault finding. You will work as part of a team but must be self-motivated and be able to work without intense supervision.
As a CNC Miller, you must be able to complete work to a very high standard, have a keen eye for detail, work to tight timescales, have a flexible work approach and be a good team player
with a strong work ethic.
Salary
The starting salary will be £23,000 – £27,000 – depending on experience
