The competitive pay rate for this position ranges from Β£150 to Β£210 per day, based on experience. Your commitment is needed for the remainder of the academic year.
This position is open to ECTs.
Year 2 Teacher Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will lead a high-achieving Year 2 class, focusing on progress and attainment. Responsibilities include:
- Crafting engaging lessons aligned with KS1 National Curriculum standards and the school’s creative curriculum
- Understanding age-related expectations within KS1, adapting teaching to maximise individual educational outcomes
- Maintaining up-to-date records and analysing data to address learning gaps
- Building positive relationships with pupils based on trust and mutual respect
- Collaborating effectively with the team, TA, and wider staff to share advice, resources, and best practices.
Essential Requirements:
-QTS (Or an equivalent teaching qualification)
-Excellent references to support previous experience in KS2 (ideally in a Year 2 class)
-A CV that covers the last 10 years employment history with any CV gaps explained
-The right to work in the UK
