JOB DESCRIPTION
The Manager, Product (Data Cloud) manages designated Canada Post (CPC) products and solutions ensuring the Corporation’s capability to provide these products and solutions to specification. The Manager is responsible for their performance against strategic, corporate and operating goals.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Below are the main job requirements and responsibilities for the Manager, Product (Data Cloud).
- Manages the development of product lines and solutions in order to achieve approved corporate objectives for revenue, volume, employee and customer experience and net contribution.
- Reviews initiatives from other functions to ensure their acceptability for the point of view of products, solutions, and operational impacts, and incorporates approved changes into product and solutions plans.
- Monitors the effectiveness of the product implementation. Identifies opportunity for optimisation. Recommends corrective action as appropriate.
- Identifies current backlog and future needs. Makes recommends for prioritisation product and solution strategies to achieve corporate objectives.
- Supports and incorporates prioritised integrated plans for assigned product.
- Evaluates operational, financial, political, labour, social and legal variables to produce solid product evolutions and recommendations to meet corporate objectives.
- Co-ordinates the integration and establishment of key targets, related to the product and aligned to corporate objectives as required for inclusion in strategic, corporate, and operating plans.
- Acts as principal contact with manufacturers, sales, partners and customers and national customer associations within a product and solutions line.
- Plans and controls budget expenditures in relation to product and solutions manufacture and purchase.
- Ensures, through succession planning, development of a potential competent candidate pool for CPC.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Completed post-secondary, preferably in a related field such as Information Systems, Digital Technologies, or Business Administration.
Experience
- 3 to 5 years of relevant data field experience.
- 1 to 3 years of Salesforce Data Cloud experience.
- One or more years of experience in a unionized environment an asset.
Other Candidate Requirements
- Proficient computer skills and competent with Microsoft Office programs.
- Excellent team building and leadership skills and experience.
- Sound organizational, analytical, judgement and decision-making skills with proven abilities in problem solving.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Understanding of how Salesforce Data Cloud enables key experiences across Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud.
