Job role: CNC Miller (Programmer, Setter, Operator)
Salary: £30,000-£38,000 Starting Salary (OTE £36,000-£42,000)
Location: Bedford, Bedfordshire
Hours: Monday-Friday / 08.00-16.30 (38 hours per week)
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

The Role:
· To set/operate and programme an array of 3,4,5 Axis CNC Milling Machines using Heidenhein based controls.
· To work to tight tolerances (5-10 microns) whilst manufacturing components for the aerospace industry predominantly bespoke one-off components, offering a workload variety.
· Communicate within the team to ensure smooth processes and highlighting routes to ensure that components are machines to a high standard.
· The use of offline programming using Dalcam Powermill & Powershape inclusive of online programming using Heidenhein.
The Requirements:
· Proven experience as a CNC Miller with programming capabilities both offline and online for a minimum of 3 years.
· A good understanding of Heidenhein based controls
· Confident in both offline (Dalcam Powermill & Powershape) and Online (Heidenhein) programming.
· An understanding of optimising cutting paths, optimising speeds and establishing an array of tooling/clamping sequences.
