Titmouse Vancouver is hiring Compositors with After Effects and Harmony experience for a 2D animated action-comedy with TMNT: Mutant Mayhem vibes! Priority will be given to BC-based residents.
Estimated Project Length: ASAP – late May 2024
Weekly Salary Range (CAD): $ – $1350, commensurate with experience and skill level
*If the work for this position is performed within the geographical jurisdiction of the collective bargaining agreement, it will be covered by that agreement.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must have strong portfolio samples showcasing 2D animation compositing in After Effects and Toonboom Harmony (not simply motiongraphics).
- Previous experience compositing for an action series or styles similar TMNT: Mutant Mayhem.
- Experience with exporting/prepping files in Harmony.
- Able to build complex scenes with assets from the background art and animation department.
- Skilled at animating 3D cameras, creating a parallax effect, particle FX, and other procedural effects in AE/Harmony.
- Able to re-light animation, create rim lights, shadows or light rays.
- Good color sensibility, able to color correct scenes in AE/Harmony.
- PREFERRED: Experience with scene layout.
- PREFERRED: Previous experience working on an episodic animated series or feature for TV or streaming.
