Role: Primary Supply Teachers
Location: Southport
Daily rate: £550-650 per week
Working Hours: Flexible hours.
Connex Education are currently seeking supply teachers to support primary schools around Southport and Formby. With the increased demand for teachers in these locations, we are seeking flexible and adaptable teachers with strong classroom management skills.
Connex Education require teachers to cover various PPA/sickness/subject-lead release/booster/intervention cover – both on part-time and full-time basis. Historically, March and April are our busiest months of the year, and we will have work available immediately. These roles are open to experienced teachers and ECTs/graduates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons across various subjects.
- Adhere to the school’s marking scheme, behaviour policy etc.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Adapt quickly to different teaching environments – have resource packs available and back-up lessons.
- Maintain high standards of teaching and learning.

Qualifications and requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Desire to make a difference and inspire.
- Experience working in EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
- DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through us.
- Ability to provide 2 references.
