Position Title: Delivery Enablement Support Analyst
Team and Location: IT Delivery Enablement & PMO – Calgary, AB
Salary from: $53,440/year
Position Summary:
Responsible for the administration of the project portfolio management (PPM) tool and associated tool set, monitoring and responding to incoming inquires and providing general process support and direction to the project management team. Assist in the development and maintenance of documentation related to the project management methodology.
Key Responsibilities:
Administration and support of the PPM and associated tool set, responsibilities include:
- User Access Control (SharePoint, PPM tool)
- New Project site setup in SharePoint
- New Project setup and base configuration within technology portfolios
- Project stage gate compliance checks and approvals within PPM tool
- Building or updating reporting using PowerBI
- Troubleshooting, solving and/or escalating solution issues to vendor
Project management user support for tools and processes
- Management and support for incoming PPM tool incidents and requests
- Training and new resource onboarding activities
Project Methodology and process development / maintenance
- Review of and providing input into continuous improvement initiatives related to PMO process and methodology
- Project Methodology documentation development / maintenance
- Updating of diagrams in Visio
- Updating of documentation and loading or updating SharePoint document libraries
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience
- Intermediate Microsoft Office
- Basic SharePoint site administration
- Basic PowerBI report development
- Basic Visio
- Providing end user support
- Worked with a geographically distributed team
Knowledge
- Understanding of Project Management and the associated methodologies, techniques, processes and approaches
- General understand of process/procedure development
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of SharePoint sites, permissions, content types, pages, lists, libraries, web parts, out of the box functionality and SharePoint Online best practices.
- Ability to manage and administer systems and tools used for managing projects (MS Project , Focus HQ, SharePoint etc.)
- Analytical problem-solving ability for dealing with escalated issues arising from project teams
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to quickly learn new applications and tools
- Strong computer skills across various programs including but not limited to the Office365 suite
