What is the opportunity?

The Sr. IT Product Specialist will play a pivotal role in influencing the business product roadmap and provide expert-domain insights to align with best in-class T&O solutions. You will provide overall analytical leadership on applications and projects, based on operational, client, regulatory, regulatory, and market requests.

What will you do?

  • Leads detailed design phases and track project updates in partnership with the Portfolio Planning Lead/s across the Digital Fund Services (DFS) group.
  • Architecture – May determine best mix of development, interfacing applications, third party vendor solutions to meet business requirements and project objectives.
  • Prepares high level and detailed specifications as necessary for small to medium projects in accordance with PMF, security and architecture documentation objectives.
  • Support the application enhancement development processes and provide guidance, thought leadership, continuous improvement, and commercial awareness.
  • Provide IT support for the business functional and system analysis work leading to technical development and implementation of key development projects within the assigned budget. Work with the business partners in Product, Client Operations, IT Project Managers and SMEs across I&TS.

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have

  • SME in Business and Technical environment of I&TS Infrastructure, particularly the Fund Administration space.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Business Analysis and/or Consulting Experience
  • Ability to effectively communicate (written and orally in English) with Clients, Operations, and Senior Leadership.
  • Business knowledge of financial institutions, understanding of fund accounting and transfer agency in order to be able to deliver. Preference is understanding of I&TS specific business operations.
  • Ability to document technical solutions in business terms.

Nice to Have

  • Good knowledge of supportive technologies in the Financial Services Industry
  • Good understanding of Fund Administration and Transfer Agency business.
  • Good Knowledge of IT standards, Methodologies, CMM and audit requirements
