This role will be part of Global Business Development Office within CCB and provide support to accelerate key initiatives and help execute against CCB’s ambitious growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Provide critical support to key initiatives cutting across program, project, and early stage product management, depending on the context. These initiatives likely involve a mix of digital and non-digital efforts and may often be starting at inception.
- Help stand up strategic initiatives for success, including:
- Defining and validating problems/solutions
- Facilitating initial scoping, resource requirements, and OKRs
- Establishing initial governance, rhythms, and project/product practices, incorporating agile practices as necessary
- Ensuring the business case is adequately written and linking key assumptions in the business case to the project plan
- Instill best practices from product and project management into the team as standard ways of working from the outset
- Help deliver strategic initiatives faster and with better outcomes. This includes
- Knowing when to leverage key enablers, such as process engineers, designers, technologists, and functional teams
- Tracking dependencies, risks, funding, and milestones
- Ensuring timely identification and, where appropriate, remediation of risks, issues, and dependencies
- Helping to design lean experiments and coordinating efforts to get them to fruition quickly
- Communication to executive management and cross functional teams on updates and escalations
- Planning of organizational readiness activities necessary to handover the expected outcomes into the organization
- Ensure that strategic initiatives are compliant to relevant standards, including
- Ensuring program/project/product artifacts and ceremonies are adequately created and followed, and adhere to Citi project and program management policies
- Ensuring appropriate status is maintained in official system of record (PTS / JIRA)
- Ensure appropriate documentation and approvals are met ahead of key milestones or launch
- Supporting Accountable Executives and Responsible Owners in preparation of artifacts that demonstrate completion of program objectives to fulfill governance and oversight teams’ requirements for initiation, planning, execution, and closure
- Ensure management of actual spend against budget is embedded within the Project Management framework with escalation paths and decision points defined
- Work with other colleagues in the Strategic Execution team to help standardize approaches to project and product management, as well as instill relevant best practices, across the business, including non-strategic initiatives.

- Experience in working cross-functionally and across regions/functions to drive partnership development, success and to deliver business outcomes
Requirements:
- 6-10 years relevant experience, including at least 3 years in institutional banking
- Knowledge and expertise in Program Management, including project management and agile product development
- Understanding of Lean Startup methodology
- Has helped launch at least one new product (internal or external) from inception in a highly regulated environment
- Can competently facilitate implementation of OKRs
- Can explain agile processes to senior executives
- Competent with Jira
- Experience planning and leading collaborative workshops (e.g. design thinking)
- Able to create basic financial models and business cases
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree
