Posting Context Statement | Incumbent will report to Dr. Matt Falcy. In consultation with Dr. Falcy, incumbent will develop relationships with fisheries managers to refine and develop, implement, and communicate sophisticated models of steelhead survival. Incumbent will contribute to the intellectual atmosphere of the Fish and Wildlife Sciences Department by working in an office setting, participating in the lab group meetings, and offering statistical and R consulting services to graduate students. |
Position Overview | Performs research activities and analysis; implements and evaluates research procedures and data. Records observations and measurements then reports results. Responsible for analyzing and preparing results for publication. Works under general supervision with a certain degree of creativity and latitude. May supervise junior research personnel.
