We are partnering with a fantastic company in the manufacturing sector in their search for a Junior Estimator. This role comes with a company car from day one as well.

Are you good with numbers and measurements? Would you like a role that involves working with customers and understanding technical quotes, that also comes with a company car from day one? If so, this could be the role for you.

The Role:

Working for a specialist supplier to the construction industry, our client has been established for over 50 years and are a leader in their field.

You will be involved in high profile projects and will watch your projects come to completion, you will also be financially reward when the project is invoice too!

Our client works within a wide variety of sectors including leisure, hospitality and healthcare. This role will include providing quotes and technical estimates for works to be carried out for them.

After you have completed your training, your role will include;

• Visiting sites and using measuring equipment to complete technical measurements
• Selecting and calculating materials along with labour cost on Excel
• Liaising between customer and internal sales team
• Preparing formal quotes to be supplied to customer

A lot of your role will be on clients sites, so the role comes with a company car (so a UK driving licence is a must. Can you expect 1-2 overnight stays a month.

What you need:

As this is a Trainee/ Junior Estimator position, experience is not needed. What we are looking for is someone with commercial flair, energy, drive and commitment!

Someone how can demonstrate:

• Ability to work with and understand numbers (through previous work experience or education
• Good problem solver, you like to understand how things work
• Someone that has good rapport with customers
• UK driving license

This role would suit someone who is looking to start a career in a junior role, learning from a highly skilled manager and developing your career within technical estimating.
