FP&A Senior Manager – London – 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

This is a great job for someone who has experience as a Financial Manager in complex organisations and who has an excellent understanding of financial markets.

A bit about the job:

The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team provides insight and challenge to ensure Aviva Investors business leaders develop, agree, and deliver on ambitious, strategically aligned and financial disciplined plans. FP&A senior managers are responsible for developing ambitious and robust plans and targets aligned to the overall Aviva Investors strategy and for monitoring performance against those plans through the production of regularly updated financial forecasts, actual performance MI and ad hoc analysis, including but not limited to stress and scenario testing and winddown planning. In this role you will support the Head of FP&A and Strategy by ensuring delivery of and continuously improving Aviva Investors planning, forecasting, capital stress testing, monthly MI and performance challenge activities and outputs, including results messaging to Group and CFO papers to Board. You will need to proactively engage with the Director of Business Performance, CFO, Finance SLT, FBPs and other key business contacts on performance developments, challenges, and insights.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

Experience of business planning, management accounting and external reporting, ideally within an Investment Management business.

Good understanding of strategic / business issues and investor relations

Track-record of managing business wide processes involving business heads and finance professionals, across international and virtual teams

Sound knowledge of investment management businesses

Understanding of financial systems and processes (Anaplan experience preferable)
