Job profile:
In this position you are expected to write a dissertation in a stimulating environment using the university’s infrastructure. You will assist in teaching, supervise students and participate in administrative activities. At least 50% of the working time is reserved for the thesis. Your main responsibilities will be to:
- write a dissertation in the area of cryptography for secure and privacy friendly computation
- research in the area of design and analysis of cryptographic functions for secure and privacy friendly computation (cryptographic multi-party-protocols, zero-knowledge-proof systems and homomorphic encryption)
- provide teaching assistance and tutoring
- write scientific publications
- supervise students
- complete administrative tasks and relevant trainings
Job Requirements
- diploma or MSc in computer science or matheamtics or a related area
- good knowledge in the area of cryptography and/or algebra, and willingness to learn advanced topics in the areas of algebra
- good knowledge of C/C++ or Python or Sage are a plus
- good command of English language
- team skills
- leadership and communication skills
