Permanent, Part Time – 22.5 hours

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified HR Advisor (Generalist) to join the People Services Team at St Luke’s Hospice, Plymouth.

St Luke’s will give you a breadth of HR generalist experience as you work within a diverse organisation, providing an excellent administrative service and HR advice and guidance to our staff and volunteers.

You will be a knowledgeable point of contact for policy and procedural queries, supporting managers with line management advice on terms and conditions of employment.

You will be hands on and operational as you work alongside the People Services Administrators to deliver a comprehensive and exceptional administrative service, dealing with all aspects of recruitment, offer and contract paperwork, starter and leavers documentation, and payroll and pension processes.

About you

You will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and manage relationships with colleagues, teams, and managers.

To apply you should hold CIPD Level 3 with prior experience in Human Resources.

You will be a highly organised and solution focused individual with the ability to work in a busy environment, working autonomously, whilst prioritising your workload effectively with competing demands.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a sound knowledge of current employment legislation and good HR practice.

You will be required to undertake project work and contribute to HR policy development and implementation taking account of current legislation.
