Job description

Do you have a strong working knowledge of DC & DB pensions administration, legislation and regulations, excellent opportunity to join this in-house pensions team. Role can be offered on a fixed term contract or permanent

East Yorkshire 2 day a week in the office

About the role

  • Oversee team members who are responsible for the administration
  • Ensure the Team complies with internal procedures and all aspects of pensions legislation
  • Manage and distribute work to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Regular maintenance of the bespoke pension database
  • Run, process and reconcile year end reports to provide information to Trustees, Management and auditors
  • Complete appraisals with Team members
  • Attend Trustee meetings and report on discretionary benefits
  • Calculate DB pension benefits and ensure timely production of statements to members
  • Maintain the Trustee bank accounts, process invoices and keep the cashbook up to date
  • To promptly and professionally communicate with scheme members, colleagues and third parties when required via letter, e-mail and telephone
  • Supporting the communication and documentation of the current company Workplace scheme

About you

  • Excellent Microsoft office skills
  • A strong working knowledge of DC & DB pensions administration, legislation and regulationsGood mathematical skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure
  • A good knowledge of GDPR
