What You’ll Be Doing

As a Senior Consultant, Workday Solutions, you will provide techno-functional support for the configuration, testing, maintenance and support of our Workday platform. Working collaboratively across HR, technology and functional groups and 3rd party vendors, you will deliver system changes, maintenance and administration activities and roadmap items in a thoughtful, thorough and consultative manner. You will play a key role in the on-going solution delivery of the Workday application with a focus on Human Capital Management (HCM) and Integrations.

How You’ll Succeed

Design, Configure and Optimize – Collaborate with various HR, technology and business partners, as well as 3rd party vendors to optimize business processes including the design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of changes and enhancements in Workday. Thoroughly gather, document and socialize requirements and ensure full testing including regression of all changes. Identify opportunities to unlock the value of Workday through ongoing adoption of new features and enhancements.

Workday Subject Matter Expertise – Leverage your deep understanding of Workday functionality and system experience design to provide consultation and Workday subject matter expertise. Intake, solution, plan and deploy initiatives across the portfolio. Manage escalations and investigations. Provide cycle administration and consulting support for CIBC’s operational cycles and annual activities.

Relationship Building – Establish strong relationships with internal and external partners to provide consultative advice and work collaboratively to find solutions, turning good ideas into great outcomes. Be a trusted advisor. Lead or participate in collaborative projects and initiatives. Proactively engage and communicate with partners to gain diverse perspectives, share information and build alignment on plans.

Who You Are

You can demonstrate 5+ years of experience and knowledge of the HR function (systems, processes, and policy), business process development/continuous improvement, data analysis, testing, solution delivery, consulting/advisory experience in roles with progressive levels of responsibility. It’s an asset if you have design/configuration experience with HRIS systems (Workday) in any of the following areas: HCM, Absence and Time Tracking, Security, Reporting, and Integrations.
