The Commissions Processing Associate will work within the Level Four Finance & Accounting department to manage commission payments, enhance the commission process efficiency and ensure transactional accuracy. This is accomplished by inputting commission data and working with the Accounting & Finance teams to process the payments. The position requires the ability to answer commission questions from internal staff. Will use accounting systems and enter manual data as needed.
This position works on-site Monday through Friday at our Dallas, TX office.
Essential responsibilities and tasks of the Commissions Processing Associate are:
- Maintain correct fee schedules in commission system to correctly charge advisors
- Reconcile commission statements to bank deposits and input deposit information to commission system daily
- Processing commission payout every two weeks thru commission system
- Produce advisor commission statements by pay period, detailing all production and fees charged
- Answering commission questions from internal staff and representatives (customer service)
- Must have experience generating report data from various systems, as well as working with and preparing data/reports in Excel
- Other project oriented tasks with the accounting department
- Required to work onsite in the Dallas office
- Additional duties as required
Successful Commissions Processing Associate candidates will have:
Required
- Minimum 3 years payroll processing and/or commission payout experience
- Experience with Pivot Tables and Excel formulas
- Strong Attention to detail
- Intuitive and flexible learner/user of new technologies
- High level of problem solving skills and reason through complex issues
- Goal oriented
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks
- Positive attitude
- Ability to collaborate with others (team atmosphere)
- Ability to train others
- Proficiency in MS Office
Preferred
- Experience with Jaccomo
- College Degree
- CPA designation suggested but not required
- Financial industry understanding is a plus!
