Description: A DevOps Engineer is responsible for bridging the gap between software development and IT operations by implementing automation, tools, and processes to streamline software delivery, deployment, and infrastructure management.
Responsibilities:
Designing, implementing, and maintaining automated build, deployment, and monitoring systems.
Collaborating with development teams to integrate continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines into the software development lifecycle.
Managing and provisioning infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.
Monitoring system performance, identifying bottlenecks, and optimizing resource utilization.
Implementing security best practices and compliance standards in DevOps processes and environments.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Shell, or Ruby.
Strong understanding of software development methodologies, version control systems, and CI/CD practices.
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Previous experience in DevOps or system administration roles.
