Contract Type: Part-time, 3 days per weekWe are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Business Studies Teacher to join a client secondary school in Greenwich. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and inspiring young minds, particularly in the field of business studies. This is a part-time position, with teaching responsibilities three days a week.About the school: Situated in the Royal Borough of Greenwich, this distinguished co-educational comprehensive institution caters to students aged 11-18 and is widely recognised for its excellence in secondary education. - Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Business Studies for students aged 11-18.
- Create a stimulating learning environment to encourage student participation and critical thinking.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance and grades.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Business Studies or related field.
- Previous experience teaching Business Studies at the secondary level.
- Passion for education and motivating students.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in using educational technology.
- Commitment to professional development.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
