Do you have what it takes to help autistic children with challenging behaviour to flourish in their schooling? Have you worked or volunteered in a similar environment before? If yes, this might be the position for you! We are looking for 15 full-time teaching assistants to start at a small and independent school for children with special needs near Marlborough. The role will involve working inside the classroom alongside the class teacher to implement a variety of lessons to pupils of a range of ages (4-18) and needs, though predominantly autism. Age group preferences will be taken into consideration but flexibility is encouraged to maximize opportunities. Those working with younger pupils should be comfortable providing personal care and supervising children with changing and toileting. Others requirements include superb behaviour management capabilities, some relevant personal, voluntary or professional experience and preferably the ability to drive given the remote location. The daily rate of pay is £93.48 which equates to £14.38 per hour and candidates will be required to work from 08:30 to 15:30, Monday to Friday.
