This is a remote position but we are only hiring candidates who currently live in Canada.We specialize in supporting companies that have a big vision. We have expertise in more complicated accounting for industries such as technology and manufacturing, and are an excellent learning environment for CPAs and CPA candidates.As an Entreflow Accountant, you work with our fabulous clients and are responsible for:
- Reconciling bank and credit card accounts
- Pushing bank feeds
- Managing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
- Processing monthly/quarterly GST/PST/Payroll remittances
- Supporting Accounting Managers with monthly financial management reports, including budgeting, forecasting & analysis
Requirements
- 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience with 2+ years in public practice
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
- Working towards or completed your CPA Designation
- At least 1 year of experience processing and filing Canadian sales taxes
- Self-motivated, collaboratively focused
- A willingness to constantly learn
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong technical accounting skills and understanding
- Tech Savvy (Experience using QuickBooks Online and/or Xero cloud accounting software an asset)
- Experience with data analysis, financial statement analysis, financial planning, and reporting an asset.
